Our Mission
Hestholl Icelandics provides locally raised, grass-fed and well loved registered Icelandic Sheep for sale as breeding animals, as well as products like sheep’s milk yogurt, meat, and fiber. We welcome farm tours by reservation, and we are supporters of our local 4H youth.
Visit us at the market this summer!
Starting in June, we will be selling our yogurt and other products at the Richmond Farmer’s Market on Fridays, and the Isham Family Farm Market on Tuesdays
About Jill
I began my farming/ranching career as a horse trainer for Icelandic Horses. While living in Iceland and training horses there, I was introduced to Icelandic Sheep. I discovered that sheep were much more than I had ever thought them to be, and I was hooked. Years later, when we bought this land, I bought a small flock of Icelandic Sheep. Slowly over the years, my flock of sheep has grown, my horses (and I) have aged, and I have become more and more shepherd and less and less rider
